SKIING IN BEAUTIFUL COURMAYEUR, ITALY

After travelling and working throughout the Alps for 25 years I have found Courmayeur, Italy to be an excellent base for my individual and group coaching. Aside of the varied terrain the resort was superb in comfort, facilities and service. I really believe it offers far higher quality and thus better value for money than just about anywhere else in the Alps right now.
We will be staying at a 4* Hotel Maison St. Jean in Courmayeur centre. This is a beautifully appointed hotel in true alpine decor, an excellent restaurant. There is also a pool, sauna and hammam to relax after a hard day on the slopes.
This trip is aimed at those wanting to break through the ‘intermediate plateau’. By that, you can ski reds and some blacks comfortably but struggle in bumps and deeper snow. I will show you how to negotiate them by learning and applying some simple ideas and new skills.
There will be regular video sessions which is the best way to analyse and develop your skiing technique. We will have our own transport so depending on ski conditions, we will also explore the nearby resorts of La Thuile & La Rosiere.

OFF PISTE & SKI TOURING CLINIC IN ARE, SWEDEN
7 NIGHTS, FEBRUARY 2025
The snow has come and I’m delighted to offer this great trip to really work on your off piste skills together with an introduction to the wonderful world of ski touring. I’ve been skiing in Sweden over the last few seasons and it’s wonderful with a high standard of accommodation and services.
SUNDAY 9th FEBRUARY
- 11.30 - 15.00 - Fly out from Gatwick to Trondheim
- 1.5hr transfer to Are and central accommodation in own room
- Get ski gear etc sorted
MONDAY
- Skiing orientation around Are with me together with the option of night skiing too available throughout the week.
TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY
- Meet up with Mathias from Mountain Exclusive for day of off piste guiding in the Are backbowls
THURSDAY
- Drive to Storuvlan for day of ski touring. Beautiful area with 2 summits possible and often the only people there
FRIDAY & SATURDAY
- Free ski day around Are to put into practice your new found skills and have a lot of fun!
- Final evening supper in Are at great local restaurant
SUNDAY
- Time to pack up before returning to Trondheim to Gatwick
- COSTINGS
- Return flight
- Hotel 3st own room inc breakfast
- Local transport
- 6 days skiing with 3 days with guiding company plus additional day's instruction with me
£1975 BASED ON CURRENT FLIGHT AND HOTEL COSTS
Not included food etc outside of breakfast, ski packs.
Places are obviously limited and aimed at good skiers with some off piste experience but not necessarily expert.
